A development
of houses and apartments on a steep sloping site with views over the
Rosendale Valley.
The design of this scheme involved solutions for substantial
retaining structures as part of the split level apartment building
and as enabling works for the development generally.
A steel frame and pre-cast concrete floors were used for car parking.
Piled foundations designed to restrict any horizontal loads due to
slope instability and transfer loads to beneath any potential slip
zone were constructed, with insitu reinforced concrete pile caps and
ground beams. |
